Is the N20 nasal mask kit compatible with other CPAP devices?

No. The N20 nasal mask kit is only compatible with the AirMini AutoSet CPAP machine.

How often should I replace mask parts?

It is recommended to replace the CPAP mask cushion every month, the CPAP mask headgear is recommended to be replaced every six months, and the tubing that connects your mask to our machine every three months.

Why is the AirFit N20 mask cushion made from silicone material?

Most CPAP masks have silicone cushions because it’s a hypoallergenic material that’s soft, lightweight and allows for a stable, comfortable seal on your face while you’re sleeping. It’s important that you decide what’s most comfortable for you and your therapy when it comes to your mask cushion. If you experience skin irritation or are uncomfortable with your current mask, contact us so you can try a different mask.

What’s the difference between the silicone and memory foam cushions?

The AirTouch N20 is the same mask as the AirFit N20, except the cushion is made of ResMed's patented UltraSoft memory foam, which is light and gentle against skin and doesn’t require cleaning when replaced regularly.

What is AirFit N20 for Her?

AirFit N20 for Her is the same mask as an AirFit N20 except it has lavender accents rather than the standard blue and is only available in size Small.

Contraindications & Warnings

CONTRAINDICATIONS

Masks with magnetic components are contraindicated for use by patients where they, or anyone in close physical contact while using the mask, have the following:

Active medical implants that interact with magnets (i.e., pacemakers, implantable cardioverter defibrillators (ICD), neurostimulators, cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) shunts, insulin/infusion pumps)
Metallic implants/objects containing ferromagnetic material (i.e., aneurysm clips/flow disruption devices, embolic coils, stents, valves, electrodes, implants to restore hearing or balance with implanted magnets, ocular implants, metallic splinters in the eye)

WARNING

Keep the mask magnets at a safe distance of at least 6 inches (150 mm) away from implants or medical devices that may be adversely affected by magnetic interference. This warning applies to you or anyone in close physical contact with your mask. The magnets are in the frame and lower headgear clips, with a magnetic field strength of up to 400mT. When worn, they connect to secure the mask but may inadvertently detach while asleep.

Implants/medical devices, including those listed within contraindications, may be adversely affected if they change function under external magnetic fields or contain ferromagnetic materials that attract/repel to magnetic fields (some metallic implants, e.g., contact lenses with metal, dental implants, metallic cranial plates, screws, burr hole covers, and bone substitute devices). Consult your physician and manufacturer of your implant / other medical device for information on the potential adverse effects of magnetic fields.

What is HumidX waterless humidification?

HumidX is ResMed’s waterless humidification system, exclusive to AirMini and designed to deliver a comfortable and convenient therapy experience. It captures heat and moisture produced while you sleep, turning each exhale into a warmer, more natural inhale, to improve airway dryness symptoms common to CPAP therapy.

Currently, HumidX technology is only compatible with the P10 nasal pillows, N20 and N30 nasal masks and offers two levels of humidification, HumidX and HumidX Plus.

Please note HumidX and HumidX Plus are is NOT compatible with the F20 or F30 full face masks.

The plush headgear, along with its soft and flexible frame, provides ultimate comfort. Plus, with four points of adjustment, the N20 headgear allows users to easily address leaks or other fit issues that may occur during sleep.
N20 connector for AirMini

This connector serves as a connecting piece between the AirMini tube and the N20 nasal mask. The connector twists apart to easily insert and replace HumidX and HumidX Plus cartridges.
Flexible AirMini tube

The AirMini tube allows for the flow of air between the AirMini and a compatible mask.
