Nasal CPAP masks

These blow air through the nose, leaving your mouth uncovered during sleep therapy. If you don’t breathe through your mouth a lot at night and don’t often suffer from nasal congestion, this type of mask could be for you. For more information on which type of CPAP mask might suit you best, go to our Choosing the right mask page.

Which CPAP mask style is right for me?

CPAP masks come in different designs. If you’re new to CPAP or are updating an existing mask, the different options can be a tricky landscape to navigate. Our Mask Categories help you find your way to your ideal mask by separating models out according to your needs. Start by thinking about how you like to sleep at night, then read on to find out which category could suit your sleep style.

What’s the difference between full face, nasal and nasal pillows masks?

The design affects where pressurised air is delivered and how the mask sits:

  • Full face — delivers air to nose and mouth.
  • Nasal — delivers air to the nose only.
  • Nasal pillows — soft inserts that deliver air directly into nostrils.

Full face masks may suit mouth breathers, allergy sufferers or those with a deviated septum. Try on different styles where possible.
